Granule does not represent a specific kind of polymer; however, it is derived from polymer. In the petrochemical industry, it is used as grains, in other industries, it must be melted and molded.

PVC or Polyvinyl chloride is a plastic with many applications making it prevalent in major and minor industries. Unique features including high strength, resistance against chemicals, flexibility and high tensile strength differentiate it from other plastics. Nowadays, PVC is considered as a suitable alternative to wood, metal, cement and clay. It is used in producing numerous products such as toy, athletic equipment, clothes, medical devices, etc. The lifespan is guessed to be at least 60 years, justifying its many applications.

Grades:

Softness and hardness:

There are different grades including 105, 108, 110, any of which will be used for a specific case. Generally, the higher the grade is, the higher hardness it has and vice versa.

Structure outer milky Granule:

Degree of transparency depends on the amount of filler. Generally, the more filler being used, the cheaper final product would be. However, excessive amount of filler must be avoided. Grade of 105 – 110 are normally used for the inner layers of hose. Other use cases include hose coating (lower grades), cable coating, rubber banners, etc.

It is packed and delivered to the customers in 25kg packs.
